THE US:
Grown men getting together to play dress up by donning elaborate and matching politically incorrect “Indian” costumes before throwing some tea into a harbour.

 

THE UK:
Convincing some aristocratic strumpet to ride side-saddle absolutely starkers through the cold streets of Coventry.

And despite these examples, it’s the British who have somehow gained the reputation for being repressed.
