American Notes: Hard Cider

HARD CIDER: A trite Americanism, for all cider must by definition be hard, and it is to insult those hardy British tramps swigging from their bottles of White Lightning  to claim apple juice with a sprinkling of cinnamon powder also deserves the title of cider. For consistency’s sake, should we rebrand lemonade as soft limoncello?
