59 long, dark nights for America: The breaking of Sean Hannity

Fifty-nine long, dark nights to go.

Trump’s Daily Twitter Highlight: “While Hillary said horrible things about my supporters, and while many of her supporters will never vote for me, I still respect them all!”

Clinton’s Daily Twitter Highlight: [responding to the above tweet by Trump] “Except for African Americans, Muslims, Latinos, immigrants, women, veterans—and any so-called “losers” or “dummies.””

Daily election article of interest: Julian Assange Is Still a Creep

An unexpected blessing of this election is that it seems to have broken Sean Hannity.

So eager is he to smear Clinton at any and every opportunity that he is reduced to having something of bromance with Julian Assange; a man he wanted extradited and jailed a few years before, but now that he is wikileaking all over Hillary, Hannity has suddenly become his BFF. It’s an odd coupling, you could make the case that both men are respectively slumming it.

The politico article linked above covers it, and also helped precipitate Hannity having a twitter meltdown tonight. It’s quite phenomenal to see a Fox News anchor writing that Assange “has done us [America] a favor” at precisely the point when it appears that Russian intelligence is behind the latest Wikileaks.

Presumably Hannity’s new found fondness for all things Wikileaks wouldn’t stretch as far as being a public advocate for the release of Chelsea Manning
